Joseph Gerber helps clients protect their intellectual property rights in the U.S. and around the world. In addition to providing risk assessments and enforcement strategies for clearing and registering IP rights, he negotiates conflicts on a worldwide scale. Joseph manages global trademark and copyright portfolios, and frequently drafts license, coexistence, consent, and other agreements to meet clients’ nuanced and industry-specific goals.
Joseph works with clients at all stages of brand development, from emerging brands and companies expanding into new markets to those having an established global presence with varied commercial interests and robust IP portfolios. His clients reflect diverse industries, including music, entertainment, fashion, and luxury consumer products. Joseph also provides pro bono IP services to artists and non-profits in New York.
Prior to joining Fross Zelnick, Joseph was a litigation associate in a large New York City law firm.
